Mer Sweden to partner up with Volvo Cars
– Together with Volvo Cars, we want to make EV life easier and create a good customer experience for Volvo’s customers, says Fredrik Nordin, CEO of Mer Sweden.
The collaboration seeks to ease the EV life of Volvo’s customers with a seamless experience throughout the customer journey, partly by using their existing Volvo subscription to charge in Mer´’s public charging network, but also get an exclusive offer for a home charging solution.
– Volvo Cars’ goal is to change the current fragmented charging landscape into an all-in experience that is comfortable and hassle-free. We want to achieve this by providing an integrated charging platform to our customers, and easy access to the largest charging networks worldwide, says Oliver Loedel, head of electrification ecosystem at Volvo Cars.

In addition to access to charging in Mer’s Swedish public charging network, Volvo’s customers are offered a charging solution at home to make it easy to charge when the car is parked for a longer period of time. This also contributes to the conversion to electrified as the absolute majority of charging takes place at home or at work with an installed charging box. The smart charging box and associated installation are ordered in connection with the purchase of a rechargeable car online at Volvo Cars, where Mer Sweden offers an exclusive home charging solution.
– We look forward to the collaboration with Volvo Cars and to being able to offer an attractive complete solution to Volvo’s customers, both for the need for charging at home and along the road. In addition, we are increasing the pace of expansion of ultra-fast charging along the Swedish roads in the future and ensure that it is always a good experience around the charging stations, concludes Fredrik Nordin, CEO at Mer Sweden.
