Bee becomes Mer Sweden – forming a solid foundation for Mer in the Nordics

Earlier this winter, Mer and Statkraft announced the aquisition of 51% of the shares in Bee Charging Solutions AB. The transaction is approved and the company is today launched as Mer - becoming one of the largest EV operators in Sweden and together with Mer Norway marks a solid foundation in the Nordics.

Solid foundation with leading position and extensive experience from the Nordics

As Bee launches today and joins the European Charging Company Mer, the customers in both Sweden and Norway gets access to a nationwide charging network in each country. But thats just one of the many good things waiting for the Nordics.

By expanding our public charging infrastructure, offer the best services and exeriences, we will leverage our combined efforts, says Fredrik Nordin, CEO at Mer Sweden.

Cross country collaboration to leverage efforts

Kristoffer Thoner, CEO of Mer, says that the cutting-edge expertise and experience in the Swedish and Norwegian operations regarding fast charging and home charging differ and complement each other very well, and that the companies looks forward to learning from each other and collaborating with charging solutions across national borders.

– I look forward to working with the rest of the organization, as well as our new colleagues, to create the best and most customer-oriented charging company in Europe, says Kristoffer.

During the summer, the charging stations in the public charging network will begin to be rebranded to Mer, and from today, customers will have access to both a nationwide charging network in Sweden and Norway.
